I’ve spent over 25 years in the real world of management and leadership – leading teams, growing businesses, navigating complex politics, and shaping strategy under pressure. My work now centres around coaching others do the same, with more clarity, confidence, and intention.
Whether I’m working 1:1 with a manager, running team or group sessions, or delivering strategic workshops, I bring a practical, grounded approach to the table. I know what it’s like to be in the thick of it – managing up, down, and sideways; trying to set direction while firefighting; keeping morale high while hitting targets. It’s not easy. But it can be done more strategically, and more sustainably.
My coaching and training support clients in three interconnected areas:
- Management – Getting the work done through others, not in spite of them! I help managers develop the skills to delegate effectively, give feedback that works, and balance authority with approachability.
- Leadership – It’s not about titles, it’s about influence. I work with new and experienced leaders to grow their presence, emotional intelligence, and ability to inspire without burning out. Leadership starts with self-knowledge, and I place a strong focus on helping people lead themselves first.
- Strategy – Whether it’s business-wide or personal, strategy is about knowing where you’re going and how you’re going to get there. I help individuals and teams cut through the noise, connect to their purpose, and align day-to-day work with bigger-picture goals.
I use a mix of coaching, facilitation, and behavioural insight to support real development. This work is never “one size fits all.” It’s tailored, thoughtful, and designed for real people doing real work.
